The MK Dons have received a timely boost in their promotion push after it was confirmed that striker Sam Baldock has returned to training after five weeks on the sidelines. Baldock has missed the last six games for the Dons after picking up a hamstring injury in the team`s 1-0 victory over Dagenham and Redbridge last month. Dons manager Karl Robinson said: "Sam Baldock trained with the first team on Monday which is great news for us. The game on Tuesday night will come too soon for him to be in the squad but the good thing is he`s on the mend." The club also received more positive news as on-loan QPR winger Angelo Balanta has stepped up his rehabilitation from ankle surgery. Robinson added: "He`s still going to be a long way away, but he`s in the next stage of recovery which is great news for us."
