Dons aiming for top two finish

A 35th-minute strike from midfielder Luke Chadwick secured three priceless points for the Dons who still lie four points behind second-placed Posh. Chadwick pounced after a mistake by Scunthorpe skipper Cliff Byrne and forced his way unchallenged into the box before finishing expertly past goalkeeper Joe Murphy. "This was a hard-working performance and a good victory for us at a place which is very difficult to come," said Di Matteo. "It was a great goal by Luke Chadwick to put us in front but we then needed everyone working hard as a team to get this result. "We can't control what others around us do, we've just got to continue trying to play our football and doing our own stuff. This season has gone very quickly and I'm delighted we are still up there challenging. We can still finish in second position with performances like that."
