The pair both suffered head injuries following a sickening collision in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Swindon. Skipper Lewington suffered mild concussion and received 12 stitches to a head wound after the incident, while Doumbe required 15 stitches to a nasty cut. Defender Dan Woodards picked up a groin injury over the weekend but took part in light training on Monday and will travel with the squad, as will Stephen Gleeson who also picked up a knock on Saturday. However, Dons boss Paul Ince will be without Aaron Wilbraham (ankle), Sam Baldock (groin), Danny Swailes (Achilles) and Sean Hanlon (knee) as his side go in search of their first victory this season.
