Carrington happy with debut goal

The midfielder signed on at Stadium MK last week and netted six minutes into the second half at Nene Park, before Aaron O'Connor's brace won the game for the Blue Square Premier side. Carrington told the club's official website: "I could hear the gaffer on the side saying push on to the edge of the box. It dropped down and I caught it well on the volley and it went right into the bottom corner. "You don't want to go too long without getting off the mark because you start thinking about it too much. "The gaffer told us at half time that we need to up the tempo and I think we did for the first 15 minutes. It was good to get a goal, a little reward for our hard work."
