The former Leeds and Sunderland striker joined the Dons on non-contract terms three weeks ago in a bid to ease Paul Ince's growing injury list but has now left. Assistant manager Karl Robinson said: "Michael Bridges' attitude and the way he has conducted himself over the last three weeks has been tremendous. "We had a good look at him, he was more than happy to stay, but we decided that we are extremely strong in that area with the likes of Aaron Wilbraham and Sam Baldock coming back from injury. "He volunteered his services for three weeks and you very rarely get people in this industry who are willing to do that. "We'd like to thank him for everything he's done for us and we wish him well."
