Boss Karl Robinson heaped praise on Aaron Wilbraham after his goal earned MK Dons a 1-0 victory over Exeter. Wilbraham`s grandmother died the day before the game, but the forward responded to his personal loss with a stirring match-winning performance and his first league goal of the season. "I was the one who had to tell Aaron on Friday - it was the toughest thing I have ever done in my life, from a purely professional point of view," said Robinson. "His grandmother brought him up, she was his shining light and I know how hard he found it. I ended up going to his house [on Friday night] and having a chat with him. "I decided to make him captain when I looked into the man's eyes and he gave me that response - I'm so proud of him and so is his grandmother as well." Robinson added: "I wasn't too happy with the way we started the game, maybe I got it wrong tactically early on. I accept responsibility for that and I changed it immediately when I felt we were under the cosh. "I did it to counter-act what was a very good Exeter team who came here to play some good football. They played a lot of nice football in front of us though."
