Battling Dons delight Di Matteo

Top scorer Aaron Wilbraham came back to haunt his former club as he grabbed the game's only goal with a superbly-taken strike in the 36th minute.[LNB]Di Matteo said: "I thought we put in a great performance in the first half attacking-wise and a great performance in the second half defending-wise.[LNB]"I think we've shown many times this season that we can deliver both - we can play football if we need to and we can battle if we need to.[LNB]"I think the whole team battled very well. It's always pleasing to keep a clean sheet, especially at a difficult ground like this.[LNB]"The pitch doesn't look much like a football pitch, to be honest, and it was impossible to pass the ball. But we created some good chances for ourselves in the first half and Aaron took the goal very well. We had a very difficult New Year and beginning of January, we know the reasons behind our lack of form, and now I think we're slowly getting on track again."[LNB][LNB]
