Balanta on target as Dons cruise

On-loan QPR striker Angelo Balanta got his name on the scoresheet as MK Dons romped to a 4-1 win at Kettering. Luke Chadwick set up Balanta for the opening goal, which saw former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann make his debut for the League One side. The Poppies levelled when James Dance latched onto a flick-on from veteran striker Paul Furlong but MK Dons re-established their lead shortly after the break. Balanta charged into the box before Chadwick set up Sam Baldock to score. The Dons increased their advantage when Stephen Gleeson unleashed a spectacular 25-yard effort before Jermaine Easter headed home Luke Howell's cross 12 minutes from time.
