Millwall centre-back Zak Whitbread could be sidelined for the rest of the season due to a pelvic injury.
The 22-year-old former Liverpool stopper has not featured for the Lions since mid-December and faces a premature end to his first full season at The Den.
Physio Terry Standing told the club's official website: "Zak has a condition that affects the front of his pelvis, where two bones meet.
"It is not an injury that has specifically been caused by a knock in a game, but one of those things that has degenerated a bit over a period of time, so he is having to take it a bit easy.
"His three-month rehabilitation programme takes him near to the end of April."
