Spackman calls for patience

Millwall's new manager Nigel Spackman has called for patience as he bids to kick-start his side's slow start to the campaign. The Lions have gained just five points from their first six league games, but Spackman expects an improvement in the near future. He said: "We are at the wrong end of the table. This game is all about results and we need to start getting them. "I have got a lot of injuries at the moment and I still haven't been able to put out my best team yet. "We have got a lot of new players and the crowd here are very knowledgeable and I need them to get behind the team."
