Senda set to depart

Defender told he can leave The Den Danny Senda looks set to quit The Lions this week after manager Kenny Jackett decided not to offer the defender a new deal. The 28-year-old has been on the sidelines after sustaining a torn achilles injury during Richard Sadlier's testimonial game against Middlesbrough back in August. The club had initially offered the player a short-term deal after he had missed the 2008/09 season with a knee injury but following a run-out with the reserves against Brentford last week Jackett decided not to renew the deal due to the form of Alan Dunne and Jack Smith in recent months.
