The luckless defender, starting his first game since breaking a bone in his foot in February, turned his ankle in the first half of the 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Barnet. Although an x-ray showed no break, a subsequent scan has revealed ligament damage and he will now visit a specialist to determine the full extent of the injury. "I am gutted for Paul because he has worked so hard trying to get back and gutted for us as well because we will miss him," said manager Kenny Jackett.
