Price tips Lions to challenge

Jason Price thinks Millwall can challenge for promotion again this season after completing his transfer from Doncaster Rovers to The Den.

The 32-year-old helped the Lions clinch a place in the League One play-offs last term during his loan spell with the club, although he missed the Final against Scunthorpe United because of a hamstring injury.

He told Millwall's official website: "It's great to be back.

"I was here for two months at the end of last season and really enjoyed my time here, although missing out on Wembley with injury was possibly the biggest disappointment of my career.

"I knew Kenny (Jackett) was interested in signing me and he phoned last week to have a chat. He told me the expectations here and they really are quite high, but I am happy with that.

"It's going to be a tough division to get out of with some strong teams - the three that have come down, Huddersfield, plus a couple of the teams up north are going for it and buying big. But we have a good squad and good fans.

"You need a good mix of players, and that is exactly what we have got here."
