Pidgeley woe for Lions

Millwall have suffered a blow on their pre-season tour of Scotland after goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley suffered a broken toe.

The Lions shot-stopper picked up the problem during Saturday's friendly with Dundee and will miss the remaining two games of the trip.

"It was a freak accident and at this stage we don't know how long the injury will take to heal," coach Kevin Dearden told the club's official website.

"Lenny was taking turns with Chris Day in goal with the other one challenging.

"Preston Edwards curled a cross away and Lenny attempted to volley it goalwards when his standing foot gave way and he kicked the ground."
