Pericard injury blow for Lions

The on-loan Stoke forward suffered a calf injury on only his second appearance since joining the Lions and is set to return to the Britannia Stadium.

"It looks like Vincent could be out for the season with a torn calf muscle," said Millwall manager Kenny Jackett.

"It is very disappointing for us and heartbreaking for him.

"We saw some signs during his first-half performance that were really promising - he won a lot of flicks and gave us a presence that we haven't had for a month or two.

"You could see the progression he has made, but it looks like he will have to go back to Stoke."
