Paris Cowan-Hall to miss out for Millwall

Millwall will be without Paris Cowan-Hall for their Sky Bet League One clash at home to Rochdale.

Neil Harris' Lions go into the game on the back of a home defeat at the hands of Southend having won three games in a row before the 2-0 loss.

Cowan-Hall was injured playing for Millwall's development squad having featured off the bench against Southend and Harris, who could also be without defender Byron Webster due to an ankle problem, admits he feels for the forward.

"Losing Paris is a blow because he came on and did well in spells for the last half an hour or so on Saturday, so that's disappointing. Just as he starts to get going a bit he has a setback so it is a shame for the lad and for us," Harris told the club's official website.

Ashley Eastham will hope to win a recall to Rochdale's squad.

The 24-year-old was left out of Dale's 18 for the 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe at Spotland but manager Keith Hill has been impressed by his professionalism in handling that setback and may reward him.

Hill has a full-strength squad at his disposal but could make changes to his XI, with Joe Bunney hoping to be part of any shake-up having scored from the bench last weekend.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, who, like Eastham, was left out last weekend, will be hoping to build on his 28-minute cameo in his debut at Burton.
