Millwall V Middlesbrough at The New Den : Match Preview

Lions worry over Mildenhall

Millwall goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall is still a doubt with an ankle injury when Middlesbrough visit The Den.

Mildenhall was a doubt prior to the Lions' FA Cup clash with Bolton but he played the entirety of the 2-0 defeat. David Forde, who was an unused substitute against Wanderers but played the last league fixture with Brighton, would step in should Mildenhall's ankle keep him out.

Manager Kenny Jackett has Jimmy Abdou available once more.

The midfielder is fit again from a knee problem but may struggle to make Jackett's squad as he can only name five substitutes in the npower Championship after including seven replacements in the cup.

Defender Tamika Mkandawire is still sidelined with a knee problem, as is midfielder Therry Racon, who is nursing an ankle injury.

Scotland international Kevin Thomson will miss out through suspension.

The midfielder will serve the first phase of a two-match ban after being sent off for the second time this season for two bookable offences during the 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest last Tuesday night.

However, compatriot Barry Robson returns to Tony Mowbray's squad after a three-game absence.

Robson has not played since dislocating a finger and breaking a bone in his hand during the 2-2 draw at Leicester on February 1.

Nicky Bailey and Merouane Zemmama have returned to training from a medial ligament injury and hernia surgery respectively, but Danny Coyne (calf) and Scott McDonald (medial ligament) remain on the sidelines.
