Wood set for Lions bow Millwall will add Chris Wood to their squad for the visit of Cardiff. The young New Zealand striker has moved to The Den from West Brom on loan until November 20 and could be in line for an immediate debut after the Lions were thumped 4-1 at Hull on Saturday. Defender Karleigh Osborne faces a fight to win back his place after he was hauled off at half-time with the Tigers 4-0 up, with Alan Dunne taking over at right-back as Millwall reverted to a flat back four. Winger Liam Feeney is out for two months with an ankle injury, full-back Jack Smith remains a doubt with a thigh strain and midfielder Tamika Mkandawire will not be rushed back despite recovering from knee surgery. Malky Mackay could rest star man Craig Bellamy for the first of two trips to the capital this week. Bellamy scored against Leeds on Saturday but is not long back from a calf tear so Mackay may chose to protect his prize asset ahead of the match with Millwall. "We've got two away games coming up and I'm going to be cautious in terms of how he's played over the next couple of weeks," the Bluebirds' boss told the South Wales Echo. "He'll be part of the group for Millwall, but as to whether he's involved we will have to wait and see." Meanwhile Matt Connolly will resume his partnership with skipper Mark Hudson in the centre of Cardiff's defence as Ben Turner is not fit. Turner is joined on the sidelines by Robert Earnshaw (heel), Stephen McPhail (hamstring) and Rudy Gestede (knee) who all miss out through injury.
