Forde worry for Lions

Millwall have doubts over the fitness of goalkeeper David Forde ahead of their Capital One Cup clash with AFC Wimbledon.

The Republic of Ireland international suffered a knee injury during Saturday's defeat to Yeovil and is due to go for a scan on Monday.

Manager Steve Lomas is expected to call on summer signing Stephen Bywater to deputise between the posts.

Midfielder Nicky Bailey is also likely to make his full Lions debut having received special praise from Lomas following his cameo appearance at the weekend.

Dons boss Neal Ardley has hinted he may make changes.

Ardley praised the strength of his squad following their 1-1 draw with Torquay on Saturday and suggested several fringe players were unlucky not to be involved.

Strikers Charlie Sheringham and Jack Midson were among those mentioned by Ardley and will be pushing for inclusion against the Lions.

Midfielders Chris Arthur and Sammy Moore could also be involved as the Dons look to experiment with their new-look squad.
