Loan hope for Pericard

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has revealed that he is targeting Stoke City striker Vincent Pericard as he attempts to fine-tune his squad ahead of the season run-in. A 93-day loan deal is planned, a move that would secure his services until the end of the season, for the 26-year-old Cameroon forward. Pericard, who spent time on loan with Southampton last year, will provide an attacking alternative to Neil Harris, Lewis Grabban and Gary Alexander. Jackett commented: "It's a good move for us, his size and presence is something we've lacked since Tresor Kandol left the club."
