Newly-installed Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has snapped up free agent striker Adebayo Akinfenwa as he looks to make his mark on the Lions squad.
Jackett has signed the 25-year-old striker on an initial month-to-month contract due to his injury problems.
Akinfenwa failed to break back into the first team at Jackett's former club Swansea City after breaking his leg in February.
"Adebayo's a player I know well from Swansea and Watford so I know what he's about," Jackett told the club's official website.
"He's fully recovered from injury - he's fit and raring to go.
"Adebayo was really keen to come here and, although he's signed initially on a month-to-month contract, I'm certain he'll prove himself worthy of a longer deal."
