Lions snap up Schofield

Millwall have signed Yeovil Town midfielder Danny Schofield for an undisclosed fee on a two-year contract.

The 29-year-old had been with the Glovers for just over a year, having made his name during a lengthy spell with Huddersfield Town.

Lions boss Kenny Jackett told the club's official website: "I see Danny as a wide midfielder rather than a winger as such.

"I'm sure he'll prove to be a good addition for us."

Schofield scored five goals in 47 appearances for Town before heading to the New Den.
