    Lions land quick replacement

    27 Jun 2007 - 16:01:21

Millwall have signed an immediate replacement for Crystal Palace-bound Tony Craig by snapping up Andy Frampton.

Frampton, 27, has completed a move to The Den from Brentford for an undisclosed fee.

The left-back signed for the Lions on the same day manager Willie Donachie allowed Craig to move to Selhurst Park.

The Wimbledon-born defender is Donachie's fourth signing of the summer following the captures of Leyton Orient striker Gary Alexander, Gillingham midfielder Danny Spiller and Ipswich Town's Scott Barron.

"Willie is very close to having the squad he wants to start the season with," chairman Stewart Till told the club's official website.

"We're very pleased with the four players we know will be joining us because they are all tried and tested at this level or in the Championship."
