Lions extend striker stay

Millwall have extended the loan stay of Arsenal striker Jay Simpson until the end of the season.

Simpson, 19, has scored three goals in 12 starts for the Lions after initially joining them in August.

"I'm very pleased that he will be staying until the end of the season," said manager Kenny Jackett.

"Jay is a very promising young player who I am sure will improve further during the second half of the campaign."
