Lions deny stadium reports

Millwall have dismissed reports that they are planning to move into the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 London Games.

The League One club's deputy executive chairman Heather Rabbatts has admitted they have held talks with Games organisers, but has denied that they have been centred around a potential move away from The Den.

"I'm sure there will be endless rumours relating to the use of the stadium and I don't know where this one has come from," she told the South London Press.

"We've been talking to the organising committee about sports and community education work as they look to provide a lasting legacy for London.

"We already have some experience in this field and our own plans for redevelopment centred around The Den."
