Lions defender set for surgery
The USA international - who is on the transfer list at the Den after rejecting a new contract - has not featured this season and saw a move to Peterborough break down over personal terms in the summer.[LNB]But he is now set to be out for between eight and 10 weeks after having surgery on a troublesome hip injury, and boss Kenny Jackett admits it is a blow.[LNB]He said: "Zak's having an operation in London on Monday so he'll be out for eight to 10 weeks.[LNB]"It's a big loss, either for him to come back and play for me or for him to perhaps move on and us use the money to strengthen."[LNB][LNB]
