Lions boss lauds late, late Trotter

The game appeared to be petering out into a goalless draw before Rickie Lambert's deflected free-kick dropped past David Forde in the 92nd minute. But Trotter, who returned on loan from Ipswich last week having left Millwall in 2006, fired past Kelvin Davis 30 seconds later to secure a point.[LNB]And Jackett, who arrived at the New Den after Trotter's first spell, challenged the 21-year-old to take responsibility for his own future.[LNB]"It was a great finish by Trotter," he said. "He's a young lad who is going to bring us a bit more of a physical presence in the middle of the park and he needs to go on from this opportunity and really make something of his career.[LNB]"We should have won it, we could have lost it, but eventually got something out of it. We had the better chances in the first half and we were much better in the second half, and in the end put in a really good performance.[LNB]"Against the better teams we certainly up our game. Millwall make a great underdog but I would prefer us to make a great champion."[LNB][LNB]
