Lions boss happy with a point

The Shrimpers had the better chances throughout the course of the 90 minutes but it was Millwall who nearly claimed the three points late on as Gary Alexander saw an effort cleared off the line. Both teams remain unbeaten in the league this season following the stalemate and Lions boss Jackett believes his side merited their third draw of the campaign. "It was a hard-fought game and I think we had the best chances with the effort which was cleared off the line, but in the end we did not do enough to win," he said. "A draw was a fair result because the game could have gone either way. Defensively we were very good and we probably created the best chances. "We have done very well and although we're disappointed that we did not win the game, I think we did not quite do enough to get the win."
