Jackett pens new Lions deal

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has signed a new three-year deal at the club following their promotion from League One in May.

The former Watford and Swansea City boss guided the Lions to the Championship through the play-offs and has been rewarded for his efforts with a long-term contract.

"I've been very happy at Millwall and I really want to build on what we've achieved going into the Championship," Jackett told the club's official website.

Meanwhile, chairman John Berylson has been delighted with Jackett's contribution so far at The Den, saying: "I'm delighted that Kenny has signed a new contract which signifies his long-term commitment to the club and our vision for the future.

"As we prepare for an even greater challenge in the Championship next season, I know we are in very good hands. I thank him for a job well done so far and look forward with confidence and excitement to the future."
