Jackett hints at changes

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett is refusing to contemplate discussing new deals with soon-to-be out of contract players until on-field performances improve.

The Lions boss was furious with his players after Saturday's 3-0 home defeat to Doncaster Rovers and has promised changes for their next outing at Nottingham Forest.

It also leaves the futures of Neil Harris and Richard Shaw in the air as the experienced pair are out of contract in the summer and have been omitted from the squad in recent weeks.

"We had a very poor performance on Saturday after two or three good ones and the team selection will reflect that," Jackett told the South London Press.

"I didn't select a number of people on Saturday. But after that performance I am not thinking about which individuals will have contracts in six months' time.

"What a player has done in the past is not the point - it is more a case of what happens about Millwall between now and the end of the season."
