Jackett: Lions must respond

07 October 2008 07:08
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is hoping his players will quickly learn the lessons of a horror show in the 4-0 home thrashing at the hands of MK Dons. The Lions had previously made a bright start to the League One campaign, but were blown apart by the newly-promoted Dons at The Den. Jackett told the News Shopper: "It was a disappointing day and obviously it was the MK Dons' day today. "I don't think there was complacency with my players, I think they made basic mistakes at both ends. "In terms of morale and attitude we have to get over this one very quickly, put it behind us and show what we are all about to be able to bounce back. "I felt in possession we weren't constructive enough and lacked some link play."
