Jackett sees bright future
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is optimistic about the future of the London club following the 4-0 thrashing of Hull.
The Lions are top of the Championship after their second league win of the season which have come either side of a Carling Cup victory at Wycombe.
Jackett said: "That was a really good performance and I'm really pleased with the start to the season, winning three games in the first week.
"It gives us optimism for the future and something to build on but I'm certainly very pleased with the players' efforts and application and its culminated in our first home game in five years at this level.
"When we saw the opening fixtures it's what we've worked hard to achieve, to be competing at this level. After that we're just looking to work hard for the first dozen games to get a foothold at this level. There's been no long-term goals but that's our aim at the moment.
"In your first home game you want to give the supporters some optimism for the future and I think we've done that. How we go on from here is another challenge but today was a good day for us and a well-deserved win."
