Jackett: Lions were second best

Pools were three goals in front after 29 minutes and, after his travelling supporters let their anger and frustration known in the second period, Jackett had every sympathy for them.[LNB]Millwall twice hit the woodwork in the opening minutes through Steve Morison, they were never in the game, and Jackett said: "It was a poor performance, they wanted it more than us.[LNB]"Headers, tackles, running - we didn't match them, they were better than us.[LNB]"We didn't work hard enough. Three down after half an hour, you can't play like we did and expect to get anything.[LNB]"From one to 11 it was a poor performance, (Paul) Robinson and Morison showed a bit but you can't pick anyone out. As a team and as a unit we lacked fight, battle and desire. People came a long way for this and I feel for them - my players can do better than that."[LNB][LNB]
