Jackett joy at winning start

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett was thrilled with his side's triumphant return to the Championship. Goals from Darren Ward, Danny Schofield and Paul Robinson secured a 3-0 win at Bristol City for the newly-promoted Lions. "We played very well and it was a good all-round team performance," said Jackett. "But we're not getting carried away. We are new to the division and have to earn the right to play in it, which won't happen in one game. "To a degree we have a settled side, although we have had a couple of injuries, and perhaps that showed." One sore point was the sending-off of debutant Darren Carter, who walked for an innocuous challenge on Albert Adomah in the 64th minute having been booked in the first half. "The sending-off of Carter was harsh. I accept his first booking, but I don't accept the second and it seems very tough if players have to miss games for that sort of challenge," added Jackett.
