Jackett: Draw harsh on Lions fans

25 November 2009 10:49
The Lions fans were exposed to the heavy rain and strong wind in Exeter's open away end and Jackett was disappointed their support was not rewarded with three points.[LNB]David Martin's penalty put Millwall ahead but the Grecians, down to 10 men after Steve Tully saw red, levelled two minutes from time through Adam Stansfield's attempted cross which went in off the far post.[LNB]Jackett said: "It was a real sickener, there's no doubt about that, but I want to thank the supporters that came down on a terrible night.[LNB]"I feel really gutted for them because their support is terrific and to reward them for that type of commitment with a win would have been a great feeling for me, so I would like to thank them for their support.[LNB]"As for the game, our gameplan worked and we had a few good chances and enough possession where we should have put them away. But we gave the ball away sloppily for the goal, it was a shoddy pass and it was a freak goal. He was half a yard off the byline running towards the corner flag and somehow, the cross has gone in."[LNB][LNB]
