I am not going anywhere - Senda

Despite appearing on a "not to be retained" list of 10 players on the club's official website, the out-of-contract full-back says that he has spoken to the club about a potential new deal. Although the 28-year-old fans' favourite has been injured for a year with a knee injury - missing the entirety of the Lions' season - Senda is confident he can return to full fitness to help his club's push for promotion next term. "I have had a one-to-one talk with the gaffer, who basically said if I can walk back into the football club fit and ready to go for the new season - then we will work something out," Senda told the Southwark News. "I am grateful that I have got the opportunity to come back in after the summer and, if I am fit, I know I am good enough at this level and have a shout of getting back in to the set-up here."
