Experienced striker Neil Harris will leave Millwall in the summer after being told he will not be offered a new contract.
The 30-year-old striker is currently in his second spell at the New Den but has struggled to hold down a starting spot following Kenny Jackett's appointment as manager in November.
The former Nottingham Forest forward has also reportedly been told he is free to seek an immediate loan move following the capture of free agent former Brighton striker Bas Savage on a short-term deal.
"Being told your services aren't required isn't nice, especially when it comes from the club you love playing for," Harris told the South London Press.
"But I'd not turn my back on this club in its current position. I don't want to leave."
Jackett added: "I understand what fans feel because Neil's been a fantastic servant for this club. But I have to make what I feel are the best decisions for Millwall's future."
