Happy Harris inks Lions deal

Millwall stalwart Neil Harris has penned a new one-year contract with the club.

The 30-year-old striker, who made his first-team debut for the Lions a decade ago, is only six goals short of beating Teddy Sheringham's all-time club record of 111.

"Everyone knows just how much this club means to me," said Harris. "Naturally I had to talk things through with my family, and they're as delighted as I am that I'll still be a Millwall player.

"Now I'm looking forward to getting back with the other lads on 1st July and focusing on making sure that we have a successful season."
