Grimes' Crawley switch falls through

Crawley boss Steve Evans was hoping to snap up Grimes ahead of the loan deadline, but Lions chief Kenny Jackett has instead confirmed the 22-year-old will be involved in Saturday's FA Cup trip to Staines.[LNB]Jackett told the News Shopper: "It isn't going to happen because we need all the forwards we've got at the moment.[LNB]"Two of our senior forwards, Neil Harris and Gary Alexander, are out injured so we aren't in a position where we can release Ashley at the moment.[LNB]"He will be involved against Staines on Saturday."[LNB][LNB]
