Donachie axed by Lions

Millwall have axed manager Willie Donachie after a 4-0 defeat at Carlisle United left the Lions propping up the League One table.
Donachie had been in charge at The Den for just over a year, but his side have been unable to continue the form that ensured an escape from relegation last season.
A club statement from executive deputy chairman Heather Rabbatts read: "This decision was taken by the board with a heavy heart. We were all desperate for Willie to bring us the success he so craved.
"He is in many ways a remarkable man and will be greatly missed by us on a personal level.
"However, we took the view that, as at the same stage last season, decisive action was necessary in the long-term interests of the football club.
"Richard Shaw, assisted by Colin West, will take charge of the team for next Saturday's game at Gillingham and we will then begin our search for a permanent replacement."
