Decisions baffle Jackett

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett slammed the referee as several bizarre decisions dominated the Lions' 3-2 defeat to Oldham Athletic at the New Den.

Kevin Friend sent off 18-year-old Jay Simpson for celebrating his goal while the Latics' Lee Hughes was not even booked despite celebrating three times in a similar fashion.

A baffled Jackett said: "Whether it's the referee or the rules, it has to be looked at if people are being sent off for celebrating.

"The emotion scoring a goal is a big thing, especially for someone who's just 18.

"We played with passion and with spirit but we have to learn from the things we can do better."
