Craig secures Lions return

Defender Tony Craig has returned to Millwall on a permanent basis following a brief spell with Crystal Palace.

The 23-year-old full-back left The Den last summer to join Palace but, following a change of manager at the Championship club, was deemed surplus to requirements.

Craig spent the final month of the last campaign back with the Lions on loan and has now signed for Kenny Jackett's side for an undisclosed fee after agreeing a three-year contract.

"I was very impressed with Tony during his loan spell here last season and I think he'll be a good asset for us," Jackett told the club's official website.

"He will have benefited from the experience of being away from here for a year, but he's still a good age and he's fully focused on helping us win promotion to the Championship.

"I'm very much looking forward to working with him again."
