Millwall midfielder Neal Ardley has decided to retire after a two-year battle with injury.
The 34-year-old former Wimbledon and Watford player joined the Lions from Cardiff City last summer but made only 15 appearances.
Ardley now intends to pursue a career in coaching.
"I've had a great career and enjoyed my time at every club I've been with," he told the club's website.
"I'm 35 (on Saturday) and not likely to feature prominently in the side this season, so it makes sense to stop playing and turn my attention to coaching."
