    Woody won't rule out Real

    24 Jan 2007 - 13:01:55

On-loan defender Jonathan Woodgate doesn't believe his Real Madrid career is over despite his season-long stay in the Premiership.

The injury-jinxed England defender has been in superb form since swapping Madrid for Middlesbrough during the summer.

Woodgate still has one year remaining on his Real contract and, although claiming he is enjoying life back in England, he admitted he would not be against returning to the Bernabeu to resurrect his career in Spain.

"Moving to Real was a great opportunity and it's still not gone totally," he told Marca.

"Maybe if I'd been fit more and been able to play more in those two years, I could have helped the team win titles.

"It's a part of my life that's not complete, and you never know about the future.

"When I arrived (at Middlesbrough) it was for one season, now we'll see what happens in the summer.

"Nobody knows what will happen because I've got a year left on my Real contract."
