Welcome dilemma for Strachan

Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan is looking forward to a pleasant selection headache ahead of the visit of Reading to the Riverside Stadium. The Scot left Kris Boyd, Nicky Bailey and Tarmo Kink out of the side which started against Burnley on Tuesday night and was rewarded when the latter came off the bench to score a match-winning double. Injuries are once again limiting his options but Strachan is pleased to have in-form players at his disposal. He told the club's official website: "It makes it easier if players play well, it makes it easier to pick a side, that's for sure. "It's not easy if there are only two or three players playing well. It's a lot different if there are six, seven, eight players playing well. "Then you have only got one or two to think about."
