We looked solid - Mowbray

Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray was pleased with his side's defending in the 1-0 defeat to Swansea on Sunday. Mowbray was delighted with the performances of goalkeeper Jason Steele and his back four who were on the verge of keeping their second clean sheet in as many games until Scott Sinclair's late deflected shot gave the Swans all three points. "Football is a cruel game," he told the club's official website. "The keeper's looked pretty sharp, only to be beaten by a deflection off (David) Wheater. He showed once again what an exceptional talent he is. "My whole back five including the keeper did very well. The back four stood their ground in dealing with fast, direct footballers in Sinclair and (Nathan) Dyer."
