Watford snap up midfielder Walker

Midfielder Josh Walker has signed a two-year deal with Watford after joining from Middlesbrough on a free.The Hornets have the option of a further one-year on the 21-year-old's contract and have agreed to give Boro a percentage of any future sale. [LNB]The defensive midfielder made five starts and eight substitute appearances during his time at the Riverside. [LNB]He will go straight into Malky Mackay's squad for Saturday's Championship trip to Hull City. [LNB]Walker has spent time at Bournemouth, Aberdeen and Rotherham on loan, featuring 15 times for the Millers during a three-month spell last season. [LNB]The former England Under-16, 17 and 20 player, who came through the Boro academy, can also play at centre-half.
