Versatile Williams suits Mowbray

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray will not rush to pigeon-hole utility man Rhys Williams as he continues his fightback from long-term injury. The 22-year-old Australia international initially returned from a troublesome pelvic condition in central defence, but was pressed into service in midfield for Saturday's 3-3 npower Championship draw with Leicester.Mowbray told the club's official website, www.mfc.co.uk: "It was a big decision to take Rhys out of the back line and move him intomidfield, especially as we had to make the switch halfway through Friday's training session when Nicky [Bailey] stretched his groin."Rhys is one of those fabulous players who can play in any number of positions equally well."When he switches on the turbo-drive, he gets there whatever he's looking to do, whether it's making a tackle or racing forward with the ball."As for what his best position is, somewhere along the line he will settle into one position, but I don't need to make that decision at this time."
