New Middlesbrough signing Sanli Tuncay has promised to help fire the club back into Europe following his arrival from Fenerbahce. The Turkey international joined up with his new team-mates for the first time during their training camp in Austria this week and has set his sights on European football after starring during Fenerbahce's recent Champions League campaigns. Tuncay scored a hat-trick against Manchester United in a 3-0 group stage victory during the 2004/05 campaign. "My aim was to play in Europe one day and I have done that in previous seasons," he said. "It is also very important for me to play in the Premier League and that too is going to happen. "But I want to get Middlesbrough back into Europe. That is my target. "I am very ambitious to win things and achieve success, as I know Middlesbrough are, so I can promise I will do my very best for the club and the supporters. "My new team-mates are great. They have all played a part in helping me settle in quickly. "They have helped me even though I have a little bit of a problem with the language."
