Tuncay decision for Southgate

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate will make a late decision on whether to include striker Tuncay Sanli in the starting line-up for the trip to Scunthorpe. The Turkey international, who is expected to leave the club before the closure of the transfer window, scored in Saturday's 3-0 at Swansea after coming on as a substitute following his return from international duty in midweek. Southgate otherwise has no fresh injury problems with midfielder Gary O'Neil having put groin surgery on hold until the end of the month. Striker Jeremie Aliadiere (hamstring) is expected to return to training later this week, while Didier Digard (groin), Emanuel Pogatetz (knee), Brad Jones and Chris Riggott (both ankle) and Matthew Bates (cruciate ligament) remain on the sidelines.
